Today I want to talk about the unreasonable man. You know, the person that always dares to try something different, the person who is always making up strange ideas, and the person who simply wishes that he could change the world. The unreasonable man lives a life that is hard.
There have been many unreasonable men and women who have dared to see the world through a different lens, leading to the creation of a new perspective. Famous people we know - Abraham Lincoln, Churchill, Alexander the Great, Eleanor Roosevelt, etc.- but many people in our daily lives also have changed our world.
You and me can be the creators of a new world in our lives and that of those around us (especially our loved ones). We don't need to be smart, rich or famous. We simply need to care and be wise. We need to be good, useful, and grateful. By being good, useful, and grateful, we open our minds and our hearts to the understanding of the world and how we can change it to fit our values and beliefs.
I believe one of the most beautiful things to see in a person is their desire to be themselves - their desire in creating the person they are meant to be - and making the world simply revolve around who they are. The point is not to be ego-centrical. The point is to be independent. This applies to all parts of our life from the social, career path, personality, values and possessions. They should all reflect the truth that arises from yourself, not what society desires. Don't adapt to the world. Learn to live in it by being who you are.
