I have always been bad at that meditation thing and learning to breath properly. I can never seem to get my head to quiet down! My sister this week had a great experience at school doing this, though. I know it is a useful tool, and I do certainly want to improve on it (maybe I will be less stressed out, and have better breath capacity).
If I want to achieve some degree of meditation, the use of music for me is essential. Music has always been my "to-go" escape for anything, and it certainly has not failed me. So, as such, I have selected my piece for this weekend's "take a breath"exercise: "Kiss the Rain" by Yiruma. I love Yiruma! He is one of my favorite pianists. The recording that I found on YouTube is very nice and inspiring, so I hope you can enjoy it, too :)
I read a small piece the other day about taking life slowwww. We are certainly in the need to have some quiet time for ourselves. W are certainly in the need to find ourselves. Remember: Although the road may be filled with rocks, sticks, and stones, continue to move forward at your own pace with awareness, for only then will you have truly understood the essence of the space around you.
Be strong, be unique, and step out of your comfort zone!
