So, with all my hassle this week, I was trying to find something to help me slow down. I was running yesterday around a little lake (actually, it's quite large), and as I was listening to music, I struck on the Lilo and Stitch song. You know the one where they talk in their native language. I was like, "wow, it's been a long time since I heard this!". Running around the lake and listening to this song was quite enjoyable.
I imagined myself on the beach (of, course :p). I was listening to the swoosh of the waves as they came back and forth. I could smell the fresh and intoxicating salty atmosphere of the ocean, and the burning sun as you walked on the sand. And I could feel the peace of the place. It was quite enjoyable :)
At the end of my run, I felt more relaxed. It is never easy to feel completely at peace, but sometimes we have to try. Today after I woke up I saw the beautiful sun that just came out. It is quite beautiful through my window. It's all yellow! Looking at these things helps me remind myself that I am nothing in this universe. I mean, I do have value, but my problems relative to everything else are small. If there are things that I have to do in my life, more likely than not, I will somehow get through them. I just need to keep working to the best of my abilities and not worry.
