I was looking through pictures, and I found the one above with the stepping stones that I personally liked. I have found that life can be quite strange sometimes, and knowing where we are going is a wishful thought. Like stepping stones, sometimes we are just trying to survive by jumping onto the next stones and trying to keep our balance. Have you ever tried jumping on stones? It's hard! You don't know how the rock is shaped, so you might lose your balance when you step on a new rock. Also, sometimes you just have to follow the path, not knowing where it might take you. And let's not forget the water! The perilous water lurking underneath these safe-stones.
We humans always like to have control and know everything about everything. And that is not a bad thing. If people weren't curious to know things, then we wouldn't have many of the technological advantages we have today. But, let me ask: How many of those discoveries were intentional and how many happened because something else led to their happening? It is good to have a goal or goals in life. You should! But the path that you have to take to reach that goal might be something you never expected to follow. Be open! Be brave! And don't fear to step outside of your comfort zone!
I know I repeat it everything time, but stepping outside of your comfort zone, taking that step onto the next stone, might just be what you need to find the path that you need to take. So whatever situation that you are going through right now, just know this: You are not alone! Everyone of us is also balancing our lives on the stones (or trying at least :p). What is important is to keep going. If you realize that you need to change paths, then do it, and start over again (there is no problem with that).
What I most like is the end of the picture. There is no end! There is no end to our journey. We simply keep stepping on stones, we keep learning, and we keep becoming better persons. Never stop stepping! Keep going until infinity and beyond!
Be strong, be unique, and step out of your comfort zone!
