So, this week on the radio I was listening to some oldies songs and I came across one really good one: Right Here Waiting For You by Richard Marx. It is such a simple, but beautiful song. As soon as I got home and had the chance, I looked through my music to see if I had it, and I started playing it. I think the reason I most like it is because of the piano introduction and throughout the music in general. I like many instruments, but the piano I guess you can say is my bias. In addition, the lyrics and overall message is very strong and loyalty-like which are qualities that I like.
Since we are in the topic of old songs, I also listened to another very good one with a more up beat tempo: Forever Young by Rod Stewart. It is such a good song, because like my mom speaking about life and all that (you know what I mean? When older people start talking to you about how to live life, and to stay true to yourself and all that good stuff). So, the song reminds me of my mom and her voluminous teachings about life :p
What about you? Do you like the songs I mentioned? Do you have an old song that you love to listen from time to time? Feel free to tell me in the comments! I'd love to hear :) I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend!
