Today is a very stormy, rainy and dark day in my part of the world. It's seems like the weather is going to stay like this all day, from looking at the clouds outside. It is truly a spectacle to see. This type of weather reminded me of a piece of music by Takashi Kako: One Drop From A Mighty River. It is a beautiful piano/orchestra piece that has a dark and melancholy tone to it (I really like pieces like this :p - I'm not depressed, but I just find they have so much depth).
Hearing this piece in a day like this takes you back in retrospect about your life - at least it does for me . I am reminded of who I am, what I have done, and what I am going to do. It brings me peace with myself about all those stages in my life. Those stages might not have been all happy, but they are there and if you look closely enough, you will find something to learn. I am not afraid to look into myself. That is why I like these types of pieces. Are you afraid?
I will leave you with a quote to meditate on: "Sow seeds of hope and enjoy optimism. Sow seeds of doubt and expect insecurity". What are you sowing in your life? When you look back, what are you going to see? And in moving forward, what will you find?
Have a great weekend everybody!!! Enjoy the day, stay safe, and stay dry!
Be strong, be unique, and step out of your comfort zone!
