Quick question: How many of you have photographs laying around your house? You know, those old photos from who-knows-when, and the most new ones that you just took last vacation? I have plenty! I have walked and passed by them so many times, their presence has become a given. But, today I stopped to look. Today, I stopped to see.
What did I see? I saw the moment of uncertainty. I saw that small pause in time when no future was yet to be. I saw the worries and happiness. I saw the innocence of youth. I saw the person I became. But above everything, I saw this moment of "right now".
I have taken a picture of this moment. Of this second. A picture in my mind of what is and already has passed. A photo of today.
We worry about our future. We don't know what it holds. We look at old photos and see ourselves from a more knowledgeable perspective. How can we know what to do now, so that when we look back at this picture, at this moment, we can tell ourselves, "I made the right decision" ? We can't.
What do you mean by the right decision? Do you mean success? When I look back at those old photographs what I think about is, who was I at that moment? Who were the people that took that picture with me? What did we do together?
Be good. Be useful. Be grateful. Your attitudes mark your success in this life. Your attitudes will show in your pictures. Your actions will speak of the future that lays ahead. Your actions will create the moment in time. Seek to understand and listen. Seek to grow and prosper. Seek to be pure.
Remember, your energy attracts that which you want. We do not know our future. But, we can visualize it. Use your power to attract good energy. Attract that which is pure and simple. Use your power to be a light in this world.
Twenty years from now, when you look back at your pictures, what do you want to see?
Have a great week everyone!
Be strong, be unique, and step out of your comfort zone!
