As you may know, I practice Tae Kwon Do, and I love it. One of the skills at which I want to improve on is my weapon techniques, and in specifically the bo staff. I have always feared using the stick, just because I am scared of getting hit. But not anymore :p I want to become one with the bo staff and look as flexible as I have seen others performing :p
I have been watching youtube videos, and I have found two guys that I enjoy watching for certain techniques and styles. I will post their links down below, so you can watch them. Feel free to tell me what you think :p
In order to get the hang of the technique (any technique, really) it is important to keep a constant practice every week. Practicing every week is the most useful way you can improve, since it is the only way you can keep track of your progress and how far you are from your goal. I think that is one of the factors that helped me get my spinning technique (I need to improve more, though). PRACTICE, PRACTICE, AND MORE PRACTICE. Never cease to practice every week (whether it is one, two or three times per week). Let's work it!
I hope you guys have an incredible week! I know you can do whatever you put your mind to do! I have faith in you :)
Be strong, be unique, and step out of your comfort zone!
