Speaking of appreciation, I want to give a shout-out and tell all of the people who have been my teachers and guides throughout my life that I appreciate them. Why do I want to do this? Because being a teacher is one of the hardest things in this world.
I have had many experiences in teaching children and young adults (from music and religion to math and science), and there is one thing I have learned: Perspective.
The perspective to see beyond. A true teacher is someone who is passionate. A true teacher is someone who is devoted. A true teacher is someone who seeks to provide the best. A true teacher is someone who connects with people. A true teacher is a spectacle to see.
When you become a teacher, you are giving of your time and a part of yourself to those who are in your care. You learn to adapt. You learn to change. You learn to be flexible. You learn to see. Your perspective of how to approach "problems" changes.
Only when you become a teacher is that you truly begin to learn. The perspective in life suddenly shifts. Have you ever thought of becoming a guide or teacher? Maybe you already do it everyday without even knowing? Give yourself a clap in the back!
When a person takes on the role of a teacher or guide, they are given the opportunity to change the world. You become a leader of change. Are you up for the challenge?
Have a great week! Show some love to your mentors (parents, teachers, coworkers, friends, and many more), and express gratitude for the effort they put!
Be strong, be unique, and step out of your comfort zone!
