In a small space in the garage, I made a little cabinet where I have stored all the instruments that I will be using.
1) Ball: The exercise ball is a great investment, for it has many applications. I have prepared three exercises I will be doing for abs, core, and legs. For abs workout, I will be doing a Jackknife exercise. For core workout, I will be doing a stability ball v-pass exercise. For leg exercises, I will be doing a ball squat-on wall exercise.
2) Stretch Band: The stretch band is great for lunges with bicep curls, squats with overhead press, and crunches with lateral pul-down motion. These are great exercise for your legs and core.
3) Box: I have also acquired a small box which I will be using for pushups, jumps, and dips. I also plan on using it as an obstacle course instrument for my cardio workout. The box is about 2-3 inches in height.
4) Jumping rope: Nothing better for cardio than a good jumping rope routine.
5) TKD Materials: Of course, I have the paddles, nunchucks, bo staff, and small targets used for a good martial arts training.
6) Mat/ Soft Pads (to be acquired): I will be looking into finding the best mat to buy in order to workout on the hard concrete floor.
The cabinet contains all of these materials (except for the mats). These simple materials are all I need in order to create my workout routine. If you are interested in the routine, I will be posting the workout routine I have compiled on my next post on Monday using the materials I have shown you. I have also created a little personal space just for working out (all in the garage!). If you feel encouraged to do so as well, you can also make your own workout space.
Now that I can see what I have created - an organized storage with all my workout materials - I feel more motivated to start a constant workout routine. Saying and doing are truly two different things! I dare you to build your goals. When you have a visible view of your goals, it truly helps to move you towards action!
Be strong, be unique, and step out of your comfort zone!
